Background picture change request denied.

The other day I uploaded a picture to my background. There was an error message, asking if it was a .gif (which it was not) but changed it to the background anyways. Now, my side bar is all one solid red, with no text showing up and when I clck on setting to change my background none of the options will work. I can try and click to change it to a theme but it jus refreshes the page. It's very very annoying. AND everytime I log on it says Twitter is fixing a problem on my page and I have to manually search my profile. I have no idea what is going on. Help!
