Block moved - also removed from non-followers - leaves loophole!!
So now that you've moved the block function, we apparently can't block someone if they aren't following us any more - meaning that we can't pre-emptively block spammers or creeps? Why?
Were you considering the fact that it leaves a nice loophole? If I really want to bug someone, I could just keep following and unfollowing them over and over and they couldn't block me unless they could catch me at it during that follow period.
Seriously guys, what's up with that??

As a temporary fix, you can block someone the following way:
I'm going to use GeekMommy as an example:
1. Go to the bottom of their profile page, in this case http://twitter.com/geekmommy
2. Copy the RSS link, again, using GeekMommy as an example, it is: http://twitter.com/statuses/user_time...
3. Note the user number and append it to this link (http://twitter.com/blocks/confirm/), such as http://twitter.com/blocks/confirm/430...
4. Follow the blocking instructions as usual.

Inappropriate?Agreed! I have someone who's not following me that's being rediculous and I can't block him. This was a poor decision. Improvements need to be made regarding the block system and non followers.

Inappropriate?I'm having this issue as well. I'm being harassed by an idiot republican mccain supporter who wants to harass me because I'm supporting Obama. I don't follow them. They don't follow me. I cannot block them anymore.
I’m frustrated
-
Yes, the combination of the election feed plus the loss of ability to block non-followers is bound to lead to harassment. I've taken to abbreviating politician's names if I post. -

Thanks for re-posting your workaround here :) -
Thanks Mark - but what a pain in the a** that we have to go track down the user # and manually block - they need to just put the block link back. Once again tho, this is just going unresponded to. -
Inappropriate? Is it just me or does it look like the Block link is back? I just noticed it a minute or two ago.
