Blocks blocked.
Every time I try to block someone I get a page full of gibberish. Is the link broken or is it me? I keep getting 'followers' who seem to be more like spammers (for example: nonijuicebenefi) that I'd rather keep away. I go to their profile, click on 'block' and get to the page where it says 'block anyway' and 'nah, we're cool'. I click 'block anyway' and get what looks to my untrained eyes to be a page full of html code. Help?

Inappropriate?same here. when i click on the "OK, I STILL WANT TO BLOCK THIS PERSON" button to confirm the blocking, i get a bogus page with XML (instead of the confirmation).
however the blocking appears to have been taken into account. -
Inappropriate?I've been unable to block a follower. After I click the "okay i still want to block this person" button, i'm sent to the "something is technically wrong page."

Inappropriate?I specifically can't block richardsayer. I can block all the other spammers, but when I try to block this particularly prolific spammer, I get the "technically wrong" page. Every time.

Inappropriate?I just tried to block another user now to see if I can recreate the problem.
Like you, I clicked the [Okay I still want to block this person] button. It took several seconds for the page to refresh, but in my case, the block was successful, and I was returned to my home page where the message 'you have successfully blocked username' appeared before fading away.
For what it's worth, I use Firefox 2.0.0.14 on Win XP. I also tried IE 6.0 (also on Win XP) and that worked too. -

Yes, I can confirm that I too get the "something is technically wrong" error page when I try to block that specific account.

Twitter-karma is dependent on the Twitter API, and the rate limit for the API was temporarily reduced to 30 requests per hour a few days ago to help stabilize the system. I believe they intend to raise it back to 70 requests per hour once the system can handle the load. See related thread: http://gsfn.us/t/ipp

Are you unable to block everybody? Or just specific accounts? If it's specific accounts, I suggest logging a support request at http://twitter.com/help
