Can access Twitter but cannot log in. Get twitter.com/sessions page.
I cannot log into twitter. I can go to the login screen, and i can view my twitter page. But when I attempt to login it directs me to a "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" message, and twitter.com/sessions appears in the address bar.
This only happens at work. How can I fix this so that I can log in?

Inappropriate?My problem is similar, I have 2 twitter accts,This one (Inspirational3) I can login to, but my newest acct (Makeupfor40plus) I can't.
I can google for my new twiitter acct & it comes up but when I click on the home tab to create a tweet it takes me back to the inspirational page. When I try to login to my new acct I'm told my username or password is wrong! All that info was sent to my email and twitter sent it to me so I know it's right...

Inappropriate? It seems like this is a firewall issue, what do we need to unblock to enable Twitter? I have unblocked the domain twitter.com but it continues, what else?

Inappropriate? When I try to login from Google Chrome (in Windows XP, SP3) I'm frequently sent straight to the twitter.com/sessions page. My solution:
1. Go to Twitter Login page
2. Refresh that page (once is usually sufficient)
3. Login
That usually works for me - and maybe for a few other users too?
I’m hoping this helps at least some of you...

Inappropriate?Sorry, this did not make a difference, but any other ideas would appreciated. I have a 64 bit computer, would this make a difference.

Inappropriate?A year or so ago, one workaround for a similar Twitter problem was to enter http://twitter.com/home in the browser's address bar after being sent to the http://twitter.com/sessions page. Does that help?
I've not heard of a 64-bit computer being the cause - but it might just possibly be your browser settings.
Which combination of browser and operating system are you using?
Twitter's website relies heavily on Javascript, and will not work correctly unless Javascript is be enabled in your browser and operating system.
A frequent culprit is the Firefox browser, which supports the use of plugins.
For example: if you're using the NoScript plugin for Firefox, you need to ensure that Javascript is enabled in NoScript, too.
It's just possible that deleting the Twitter cookies from your browser would help - though that's just a guess.
I’m still hoping...
