Can I predict the shortened URL before it is sent?
pasting in a URL that is long will convert it to a much shorter form, but I don't find out how short until it is done. Is there any way to find out how short it will be and be able to add the remaining number of characters that will then fit?

Inappropriate?I've personally sent a "suggestion" to this effect to Twitter.. I explain that adding urls have taken up 90% of my text limitations.. and is there a way to "Hyperlink" keep words within the text entry so that one doesn't have to see the gibberish url data.
I have a feeling twitter did this for a reason as not to allow rampant urls floating about.. Or one can simply have a false url associated with a key word.
