Can my account be reviewed so it is not considered spam?

Can I have my account reviewed so it is not considered spam? When creating the account I got carried away and followed too many people in a short amount of time. Now my account still is un-searchable. It has now been over a month since I created the account and I'm guessing my account might still has yet to be searchable. I just want my campus organization to be able to use twitter to the best of my abilities and I apologize for messing up before.
