can the followers list be listed in an order from which someone follows me?
i notice that when someone follows me, they get added randomly in my list of followers. cant they be viewed in an order like the first one who followed me is on the top of my list and the latest who followed me is in the bottom of the list?

Inappropriate?Twitter currently displays followers and friends based on the order in which they joined Twitter. This is a temporary arrangement, to help improve the database performance.
In a related thread here on GetSatisfaction, Twitter says alphabetical sorting will be restored (we used to have it) soon.

Apparently that related thread is no longer there. Any progress on being able to sort the following/follower lists? -
Inappropriate?I would love being able to order my followers too, not just by first following but also by name or nick...
And an option to re-arrange the icons of the people I'm following- or an option to show all on the column. SOme of my closest friends don't show up!

Inappropriate?I want a way to sort my followers by name, who is following back, date of following start. Like the options given with online banking, where users are able to sort various fields by clicking on the top/title of each column desired. Now that the new follow buttons are placed to the right/lumped in with the DM & block option and you can't see if someone is following you back immediately without clicking on each one individually ( like used to be able to see if DM was available just in list). Why make us go to an outside service? I would even pay to have this option and just stay in Twitter online app.
