cant delete direct messages there is no visible trash can

there are no visible delete icons on my direct messages page and therefore cant delete individual tweets.

Hi. Yes, looks like deleting was temporarily disabled on election day (probably for site performance reasons). It should come back sometime Nov 5.

Looks like message deletion is officially back. Was able to delete messages again. Yay!
