Can't find me in "Find People" search/Not showing followers

I have not seen twitter respond to this question even one time, though there are over 60 pages of people filing the problem here.

I helped my mom set up a twitter account roughly 2 weeks ago and when I got home, I searched for her using both her name and her twitter screen name and she didn't come up during either result. I was visiting her yesterday at her house and searched again using her name and twitter screen name and still couldn't find her.

I have posted on each place where this problem happens, and get no response to any of them, or from TWitter support tickets.What is the point of relying on Get Satisfaction, if no one responds, and you can't contact anyone. This is no way to run an airline.

This is pretty bad. Does anyone know how to actually reach someone in Twitter who is responsible and how to get help. It is pretty bad when they have a help page and no help is available.

I can be found by searching for my username but cannot be found by searching for my real name.

I have this problem as well.
I'm thinking this must be a glitch for which they don't have a solution.

I cannot find myself either. However, I am followed by other people.
I wonder how.
But I couldn't find out how to contact twitter people.
It's really shocking such a popular site have such a service.

I would challenge anyone to find out why, because all the reasons haven't yet
applied to me that I've heard. Its frustrating but I've kept on growing my followers -hoping someone would DO something at some point. I've tried emailing support, adding tickets (which promptly closed) created a new account so I can actually reach my friends/colleges and hashtag again!

Hope word is finally OUT. This search problem #fixtwittersearch has gone on too long and need's to be reviewed. Frankly I've tracked it in the mean time .. and its not a TOS issue in far too many cases as far as I can tell.

Hopefully now, enough said?
