Can't post new updates
While trying to post some updates, the update button is not highlighted. I am unable to post updates to my home page.

Inappropriate?I can see other's updates, but can't update myself. The update button looks like it's working. but the spinner icon keeps spinning for hours!

Inappropriate?same problem here ... i can see everyone's updates but can't update or reply myself the spinner icon just keeps spinning, I left it go for over an hour just to see if it would ever go through and it did not go through nor did it stop spinning.

day 2 of not being able to access Twitter via Firefox - but can log in and post in Safari and IE - can't even log in via Firefox. I cleared the cache in Firefox to see if that would help but it did not.

Inappropriate?I've been having the same problem since yesterday morning. Click update & the spinner starts but the post just sits in the text box and never appears on my twitter page.
I use Firefox & tried logging out & in again, restarting the computer - still couldn't post.
Then I switched to Explorer and was able to post with no problem.
I hope they get this straightened out - I prefer Firefox & would rather not have to use a different browser just to tweet.

Inappropriate?Can't Tweet! : past 2 days, I am unable to update my activities , it just gets stuck on the countdown before updating.
And now, it doesn't even recognize my e-mail address!! So I can't be notified when this problem is fixed!

Inappropriate?Same problem. Whole point of twitter is that it's quick, but have wasted a fair time trying to figure out what's wrong.
Also can't block anyone right now, so can get boring tweets but not post my own exciting ones!

Sorry about your troubles, same thing is going on here. Hasn't been working for over a full day now for me. While it's down, I'm trying to help as many people as possible get some answers.
If you want to know what's going on, go to status.twitter.com and they post quick updates there every so often letting users like you and I, know what's going on.
Unfortunately, all we can do right now is just sit and wait.

Inappropriate?Mine has been this way since the first big DOS attack. Once in a while I could post, but mostly the wheel gizmo spins endlessly when I try to say anything.

Inappropriate?Have been able to tweet once in all 5 days I've had this account. Can't find any way to Talk to some on at Twitter. This is just bad customer service. If you want people to use a product you have 1. It needs to work and 2. People want to take to HUMANS should they have any problems.
Get on it Twitter or you'll be loosing users and therefor advertisers. -

Lucky Emily. I can't post basic tweets, which makes the service even more irrelevant. I am on Firefox, and have removed the cookies. GRRR!

My issue was fixed a few hours after I did that. -
Inappropriate?I had same problem with firefox. I went to FF tools --> options --> privacy and then clicked on the "show cookies" button on right. Then selected the Twitter cookies (and twitter add-ons) and deleted them all - folders and everything.

I've cleared the cookies more than once. Sometimes Twitter works, sometimes not. Should I block twitter cookies?

Inappropriate?I can not update my post tweets on any site .It say's my status updated.But when i check the site .They do not get posted .This seems to be happening a lot lately .So my posted update does not get updated on any site.Or only a few do.

Inappropriate?Still my updates will not post on sites .What do you do to fix this .This seems to be a unresolved issue .Maybe 1 out of 25 post.There are others will the same problem .I went on twitter help site .No response .What do you do to fix problems .Again very few post get on the sites .It would be nice if they did get posted.That's how i meet people .Right know only the ones that follow me see me.None of the sites see me.Or very few times .
