Can't twitter, sign in problems
Hi, I just signed up for Twitter, but the sign in doesn't work. I put in my username and password, but I keep getting the same sign in page.

Inappropriate?I've been having a similar problem for a few days. Each time I try to sign in I get an error stating that I've entered the wrong username and password combination. I then request a password change, type the same word (error warning occurs while re-typing password and disappears by the time I finish typing. I have to repeat this each time I sign in. Argh!

Inappropriate?I don't know which browser you're using. Mine is the Camino browser for the Mac. It turns out that I had set Camino's cookie preferences to "Deny" any cookies for Twitter. Once I set the preference to "Allow" cookies, it worked!

Inappropriate?I just clicked on "This solves the problem" and inserted my e-mail address and a username, then I filled out the two words to confirm I am human, but i did not see an input square for a password, but twitter then sent me a password in their confirmation mail, so now I am signed on *smile*

Inappropriate?Hello. If you're having trouble logging in to Twitter, could you kindly try the password resend form at http://twitter.com/account/resend_password (click here)?
Although the form asks for your email address, you can also enter your Twitter user id there.
When you click the [Reset my password] button, Twitter will send you a system-generated email. That email contains a link that can get you into your Twitter account, so you can change your password to something else.

Hm. That doesn't sound so good.
Since there seems to be a problem that's specific to your account, I suggest you send an email to support AT twitter DOT com. In that email, please include your username and the date when you first noticed the problem.
You should receive a system-generated email from the support system to acknowledge receipt of your support ticket. -
Inappropriate?Yep, been there, done that. Weeks ago, day after day. Got the system-generated reply, but that was all. I have since started a new Twitter "account" with a different user name. Twitter was entirely unresponsive to my pleas for help.

Inappropriate?I had to reset all my security settings so that GetSatisfaction is on my trusted sites list and I allow popups from the site. I had to do the same for Twitter. Only then would my login work. It was very frustrating that there was no indication as to why I could not initially log in. More frustrating was that since my login would not work it was very difficult to report the problem as I needed to log in to send the complaint!
Not a very user-friendly system and I probably wont use it again.
