Cell phone sign up- how do I send to five digit number?
I am trying to sign up my cell phone, and am instructed to send a specific message to a five digit number. I have never sent a text message to a five digit number, always just a standard seven digit phone number. I am getting an error message. What do I do?

It says "40404 number is not supported or user has not subscribed to SMS." The provider is MetroPCS. Thanks. -

Inappropriate?Hi, unfortunately at this time MetroPCS does not support messaging to Twitter's short code. As an alternative on your phone you could use our mobile site m.twitter.com or twittermail.com
