Inappropriate?msahmed isn't getting Twitter SMS because he's an international user, and Twitter discontinued sms delivery to users outside of the US, Canada, and India a couple of months ago.
Sdiddy407, in your case, did you used to receive sms or did you just set up your phone? -
Inappropriate?I set it up almost 2 weeks ago, but have not received a sms since the congrats sms from twitter.

Inappropriate?Sdiddy407, when you send a tweet from your phone to 40404, does it show up in Twitter Search?
For example, if you send "This is a TestPostFromFlorida" from your phone to 40404, do you see it in this search page: http://search.twitter.com/search?q=Te...
If yes, does it appear to be coming from your account, or from another account? If it comes from another account, then you may have the "Duplicate account" problem that's described in another thread. Click here to see. -
Inappropriate? This is good news. That means your phone is verified and connected to the right account.
So the next steps are:
1. Go to your sidebar at http://twitter.com/home and scroll down to where you can see "Device updates" and make sure "phone" is selected
2. Go to the list of people you're following at http://twitter.com/friends and make sure device notifications are set to ON for the people you want to get messages from.
3. Finally, send ON to 40404 via sms
Twitter will turn off sms delivery to your phone if it is temporarily unreachable (e.g., if you're in a no-signal area like the basement or the elevator). It resumes sms delivery when it knows that your phone is reachable again.
Usually sending an update (like you just did) or sending ON will be enough to tell Twitter that your phone is reachable and it will resume sms delivery. You'll find a more detailed explanation of this behavior in Twitter's FAQ page: My sms keeps getting shut off. -
Inappropriate?thx it worked!
