do twitter support tickets ever get actually resolved?
I've now been waiting for over 4 weeks for my relatively simple twitter problem to be addressed, after about 2 weeks I received a very generic email which didn't help at all and the ticket was closed. I managed to get this re-opened and since then no-one has looked at the issue. This is way beyond bad customer service it is customer neglect.

Inappropriate?Twitter is a free service with limited customer support. I'm sorry you didn't get a faster response. What's your issue?
-
I have the same issue. Ticket #388081. But someone has taken over my account. They have control of my account, with my name and company and job description still listed on it, and access to all of my followers. yet Twitter refuses to address the situation. This is beyond customer support. This is a privacy issue and it's causing me a great deal of anxiety. -
As a follow up, I recieved an auto response this morning, telling me my issue has been resolved. My issue has not been resolved. The same issue persists. @blockgreg, which was hacked, is no longer an account. Meanwhile, @daniel2122 continues to own my account. Changed the password and email address and now owns my account. Nothing has changed in the last week since I initially discovered it and wrote in. -
Just received an update to my ticket from Lukester: "We're working to improve search. I do find you in find people search as well as mentions of you in search.twitter.com. There will be a big fix soon that should address many of the issues people are having, yours included."
This IS NOT the issue that I have reported.. I've stated the issue about 5 separate times within the ticket and Lukester continues to ignore the key text within the ticket.. I've got many years of I.T. support experience behind me and am dumbfounded at how many ways I've managed to describe the problem without it registering with your customer support. -
So the excuse is its a free service, but you are an employee, you must be paid, so it makes a profit!! Spend some on client care, you are getting a very bad reputation and will all be ex employees at this rate. Someone else will come up with a similar idea that works!! Save your jobs. -
Inappropriate?Hi, apologies if I appeared a little snappy. My ticket number is #317346. All of the info is there. However to summarise, my timeline is not displaying my updates, it IS displaying replies or RT from other people which include my user name but none of my own updates show. This means that I am unable to use hashtags. It is almost as if my account is protected but it is not (I have ticked the protected box, saved, unticked the box a few times to try and sort it myself - to no avail).
I have also been through the FAQs and the knowledge base to see if there were other solutions and nothing I see is relevant. I did change my account name a few months ago and this problem appears to have occurred since then (It was a while before I noticed it though).
The person who has the ticket assigned to him has shown no signs of actually reading the updates to the ticket that I have made.
Many thanks for your quick response. -
Inappropriate?I have been unable to send @ messages to both people I follow and when we follow each other. I have opened a support ticket #393443 and it has yet to even be assigned to someone. My @ messages are not being received by the People I Follow which is extremely frustrating! I have even gone do far as to unfollow and refollow my entire list to fix the problem but to no avail. I started seeing problems after I began following @peterfacinelli and @211me. I am not sure why my @ messages are not going through as I have not received anything from Twitter. I would send twitter an @ request but I don't think it will go through. I am hoping this problem can be fixed and that I have not been unfairly categorized in the weird spamming issue @peterfacinelli was dealing with. Please please please look into my account ASAP as I would hate to have to close my account. Thank you for your help.

Inappropriate?I just received an auto reply email from Twitter as well that did not address my issue at all yet they still closed my ticket. The email talked about follow limits of 2000 but I only follow 17 people so this cannot be the solution. Totally ridiculous! I just opened another ticket #395649 to see if they will actually look at my real problem this time. People are not receiving my @ messages which would say to me there is something definitely wrong with my account. I am so frustrated right now I don't know what to do! Can't anyone take five minutes out of their day to look at my account? I feel like I went to the doctor for a heart attack and was treated for an ear infection.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Greg-I just started a new Support Topic "My support ticket was closed without fixing my problem!!!" Maybe you want to comment there as well to see if you get noticed faster.

Inappropriate?I've been unable to log in for weeks now - the message
"Something is technically wrong. Thanks for noticing—we're going to fix it up and have things back to normal soon." even comes up if I try and have a new password sent. My twitter page linda_mason is viewable I just can't use it

I have the same issue! I cannot login to my account. I get the Something is technically wrong message. They need to clean up their cache perhaps. I havent been able to login for days! Please Help. Ticket #424668 -
Inappropriate?received ANOTHER auto reply email about follow limits which does not apply to my problem. This is beyond frustrating! I also received an email from one of my followers that said she could not reply to the DM I sent her even though we follow each other. I opened a THIRD ticket hoping someone, anyone looks at the glitch on my account. This is shockingly bad customer service at this point. Can't anyone at Twitter help me???

Inappropriate?I am still waiting for a response to this issue despite the promising start.

Inappropriate?Maybe we should all tweet John Adams for help. His Twitter user name is netik. I'm going to tweet him now and see if I get a response that way!
-
Inappropriate? My issue was resolved. Thanks Twitter.
-
Inappropriate?Glad to hear that, Greg! Wish someone would fix my problem. It seems to be getting worse.
-
Inappropriate?greg, how did you get your issue resolved? They seem to ignore everyone elses support requests.
I’m fucking pissed
-
Inappropriate?I see that this issue is following the same path as official twitter tickets.. as soon as the problem cannot be solved easily and summed up in one sentence it is ignored.
I’m angry

Inappropriate?I first reported this almost a month ago. Support tells me it's closed, but it is not fixed. Hashtags stopped working. New complaints don't even get assigned. I am frustrated and more than a little annoyed. What's the use of hashtags if they don't work????
-
Inappropriate?.. almost 7 weeks have passed now.. this is an outrageous amount of time to blatantly ignore a customer issue. I am aware that twitter is free but the lack of acknowlegement is inexcusable.
I’m pissed off!
-
Inappropriate?I have ask for help 2 times - cannot un-favorite the message deleted. The tickets were closed without replies or fixes. So why there are any need in such "Help" service? ((
I’m sad

Inappropriate?I can't eves get to the ticket submission form. I'm trying to permanently delete another old account according to the info here: http://help.twitter.com/forums/10713/...
When I try to submit a request to twitter support using this link, http://twitter.zendesk.com/requests/p...
It just brings me back to the main help desk site here: http://help.twitter.com/home
