Does "Track" work? I thought I set it up but don't get any results.
I set up a couple twitter "tracks", but never got any tweets. I also sent just "track", which is supposed to give me a list of all the keywords I am tracking, but never got anything back from that either. Is tracking working, or is it just something I am doing wrong. I am a twitter newbie, so it is probably me.

Inappropriate?Unfortunately, Twitter disabled their track feature (which didn't scale well as the number of users increased) in May 2008. Some older Twitter documentation still contains references to track - which presumably gave you false hopes.
However, the results from track arrived only by SMS text anyway - so track, if it still existed, would nowadays be limited to USA users only.
Nowadays, http://search.twitter.com is a useful (and more flexible) alternative to the old track feature.
I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Inappropriate?Arf. How do you track an event from a mobile phone that just has texting, no browser, then? Do you have to be following every possible person who might be commenting?
I’m arphy.
