Double SMS
For all my incoming tweets today, I'm getting them twice. It's not things that I track, it's everything that I get via SMS. Very annoying!

Do you receive duplicate messages from everyone you follow, or certain people in particular? And to clarify, you do NOT get duplicates for items you are tracking, only people's updates? My final question: do direct messages or @replies come in as duplicates, or only updates from those you follow?

Inappropriate?It's stopped now, but I was getting double everything. The one direct message I got this morning came in double as were @messages along with regular tweets from the people I follow. The web interface did not show doubles coming through, so it was just my SMS updates where I was seeing it - my provider is AT&T, if that makes a difference.
I'm not tracking anything, so I can't speak to whether those would have come in doubled or not. :) -

Inappropriate?Another AT&T customer, receiving double SMS. I like being able to get SMS from cnnbrk (CNN Alert, CNN's automated breaking news feed) but I'm getting duplicates.

Inappropriate?Yeah, it's apparently happening again - but at random. I can get 10 sms tweets, of which 1 or 2 are doubles, but there's no consistency as to who they're coming from. I think it's likely an AT&T problem, IMO, but there's no expertise on my part to support that.

I'm from Malaysia and my cellphone provider is maxis. At first I started getting double smses, not only from the ppl i follow but also from Twitter (about on and off notificaitons). Now, I get the same messages the whole day, some up to 10 times!
What I did was I deleted my phone number and started all over again. It worked for a while, but it happenned again.
How can I only get 1 sms instead of multiple smses? Is this called spamming? How do I block it?
