Exceeded API limit? What?
I just downloaded a twitter client to use on my desktop and it works for a few minutes before giving me the "you have exceeded the hourly 70 API requests" What are API requests and how on earth did I exceed them in just a couple of minutes. I didn't even refresh yet!

Inappropriate?API requests are what clients use to receive the tweets from people you are following, and send your tweets to twitter.com and your followers. They are just bits of data sent between your computer and the server (API is short for Application programming interface) when you download a programme it just sends and receives via the API interface. You might have your client programme set to update to quickly. API updates are limited to 20 per hour due to system load. Check the programme settings to see / change the update frequency. Changing this will lower the amount of times your client request's updates but will stop you from getting the "API limit exceeded" message.
You can see the current API request limit on http://status.twitter.com
I’m unconcerned

Inappropriate?I have it set to update every five minutes. And I haven't sent nor recieved any tweets before it starts giving me that error. I don't understand how I'm exceeding the limit on anything when I haven't *done* anything yet.
I’m frustrated
