Facebook app prefixing
Hi guys,
You used to prefix all tweets on Facebook with "is twittering:", but now this is removed, anything sent in from Twitter we have to prefix ourselves, which doesn't fit in with how we broadcast status from Twitter/Phone.
I use twitter on my blog and to set my facebook status, and this discrepancy means I need to change the way I tweet, which isn't good!

Inappropriate?Yes, they did an informal poll and found that over 70% of the people didn't want to have 'is twittering'.
An alternative is to remove to Twitter App and install the Twittersync Facebook app. That gives you the option to specify your own prefix. -

Inappropriate?There's a number of requests for this to come back, preferably with a customisable prefix, on Facebook too. I'm one of them.

Inappropriate?Twittersync is currently not working at this moment. The option to have a customizable prefix, if so many people hated the "is twittering:" would be preferable. The nature of Facebook statuses are different than Tweets, so things read oddly without a prefix. -

Removing "is twittering": Bad idea; Facebook posts sound funny.
Best Next Step: Re-introduce text prefix, but allow it to be customizable.
