Favorites not appearing in the right date / time chronological order. Bug? Some pages blank.
My favorites are not appearing in date/time order as of yesterday. I starred a lot of new tweets within a few hours. When I scroll through my tweets, some pages are blank. Other pages have favorites on them, but they are out of date/time order. There will be several I starred twenty hours ago, followed by one I starred two weeks ago, followed by two I starred six hours ago. Also, my avatar/icon isn't showing up on Favrd that I starred those tweets, probably because Twitter Favorites are so buggy. In my favorite list they appear with yellow stars, so I know I starred them, but they are out of chronological order (in a drastic way) and have not been fixed since yesterday when I starred a lot of tweets.
Sometimes I try to view my favorite starred tweets and they appear to have disappeared or be missing. I keep clicking Next / Previous until some appear, but they are out of date / time order when/if I do find them.
Please explain to me if Twitter is aware that there is a bug problem in their Favorites / Favourites displaying in the wrong chronological order.

I have this problem, too!
Tell me when someone solves it.

Inappropriate?I starred some favorites, they were there now gone. I see a blank page. There are only a few so appear to be in correct order but now i can't see them.
I’m unsure

Inappropriate? This problem is continuing for me. I submitted a bug report to Twitter on Oct. 13 yet have heard nothing.
My favorites are not appearing in chronological order.

Hi. Did you get a reply back from the support system to acknowledge receipt of your support ticket? -
Oh, as far as I know, the favorites are not sorted according to when you starred them. Instead, they're sorted according to the date the message was tweeted. -
Hi mdy, Yes, I received an initial reply that twitter received my support ticket, but nothing since.
Also, I should have made myself clearer: My favorites are not sorted according to the date the message was tweeted, and that is my problem. -
Good to know you got the confirmation email. 8-) Thanks! -
Inappropriate?I am also experiencing failure of favoriting, as well some oddness in the listing of favorites.
I have opened a discussion in the developer's forum. While it focuses on the Twitter API, I believe that the problem is with the underlying system, and it's simply being manifested in various ways to the API and web interfaces.
More here, albeit fairly geeky: http://groups.google.com/group/twitte...

Hi Jonathan, I read your google groups thread, but your problem is not the same as the one I am having. Someone from twitter added a "bug 3398" to this thread. I understand a bug was found from your problem, which Alex is aware of, which is that they had to raise the number of favorites allowed per day from 250 to 1000. If that is how twitter/getsatisfaction tagged my thread here, that is incorrect. That has nothing to do with the problem I am having and getsatisfaction needs to remove that bug number from this thread, if indeed that is what it relates to. I am not going to touch it, since I do not know what it relates to.
I am glad they solved your problem, but they haven't yet solved mine.
I think you did a good job of presenting them with examples, and luckily they were able to find the answer! Hopefully I'll have good luck as well.
I started a support thread in the Twitter Development group on google, so maybe that will help. Thanks! -
Inappropriate? It is now Oct. 26. I reported this problem to Twitter tech support with a support ticket on Oct. 13 and have heard nothing from Twitter.
Twitter tech support, please respond to my request.
Thank you.

Inappropriate? To note, although this thread is tagged Bug 3398, this is not Bug 3398, which is Jonathan Eunice's problem as mentioned by JonathanEunice above, and which was detailed in Jonathan Eunice's conversation with Alex in Twitter Development (via Google Groups). JonathanEunice's conversation can be found here:
http://groups.google.com/group/twitte... (RELATES TO BUG 3398)
My problem was detailed to Alex in Twitter Development, via Google Groups, and on Nov. 12 Alex said a bug had been filed. However, I know it had to have a different bug # than Bug 3398, as that is the bug for JonathanEunice's problem and that "tag" was there when JonathanEunice's problem was figured out; it was then that the company marked this thread that "they were aware" of this problem. In reality, they were aware of JonathanEunice's problem and did not, per Alex, acknowledge my problem until Nov. 12.
Thus, the tag Bug 3398 should be removed from this thread and a new tag with a new Bug number related to the problem I detailed to Alex should be inserted in its place.
I just want to make sure the right Bug number is put on this report.
My conversation with Alex can be found here (the posts from user "OK" are me; anyone else is another person):
http://groups.google.com/group/twitte... (RELATES TO MY BUG, NEW BUG # NEEDED)
Thanks! -
badkitty_, bug 3398 is the bug number for your issue. The bug report that Alex filed on your behalf is as a duplicate of #3398.
API-related issues, such as the one reported by JonathanEunice are tracked separately on the API issues log, which has a different number series. Hope that helps.
