Follow attempt failed with "Something went wrong!"
something went wrong! I get this error when I try and follow another member who has been trying to get this to work for a week. They cannot follow me either. I can and have added other to my follow list with no problem. and one person has added me with no trouble.

Inappropriate?Somehow they had me blocked, we found the unblock link and now I can follow them and they can follow me. Talk about a bad error message. It is also confusing in that when I am blocked by them, they cannot follow me either. SIGH!!!

It would be nice if the user were prompted to confirm that they really want to follow someone they had previously blocked.

Inappropriate?I get this when I click on anybody's follow button and when i try to turn mobile on or off. Basically, anything I try to change I get "Something went wrong! Please refresh the page and try again." But if I just refresh the page it seems to actually do what I clicked???????
Is there anything I can do to help troubleshoot? -

I signed up for ustream and it required that I do an update for flash player in IE. Maybe that is it. I also upgraded my real player and quicktime. I have been editing some videos for my MotoQ.

Inappropriate?Starting sometime late yesterday, I have not been able to follow anyone. Any attempt I make to do it pops up the "Something is technically wrong" message. I've tried logging out and then back in and following and still have no luck.
Any idea on the problem?

Inappropriate?Yup, same here. I tried to follow someone today and got the 'something went wrong' error message. Tried following the same person using a second account and still got the error message.
Seems to be a fairly new problem because I was still getting 'you have a new follower' emails around 7 hours ago (though I must admit I haven't tried following someone new in a while).
I also noticed that @al3x just tweeted something about database failures around 10 mins ago. So I'm guessing we'll get an official status update soon. -
Inappropriate?Quick update: I'm now able to follow the person that I wanted to follow earlier from both my accounts.
From the latest blogpost on the Twitter Status blog, it looks like the db problems have been fixed

Also affects my mobile Safari.
I'm still waiting for IM to come back online to sync to my Facebook. That's been over a month. It feels like.

Inappropriate?I saw the Twitter Status update "Update (10:16a): Clients like Twitterific are reporting success again. We’re watching the situation, but consider this issue resolved."
I tried adding people again and it worked. Looks like problem is solved for now. I recommend adding the Twitter Status to your RSS reader.

I did happen to see that Twitter is "over capacity" when I was clicking around, though that was inconsistent.

Inappropriate?I get the error whenever i try to follow anybody. Ive had success 4 times out of about 50 attempts. Took at least 10 attempts to change my update aswell... I've been avoiding using this for ages and im so far not impressed...

and once in a while I get
"MisterHijinx's privacy settings do not allow this action."
But not every time.
