Following a suspended account - I want to remove the follow
I am pruning my list of people I follow. I ran into the cap so need to cut back in same fashion until the cap is raised.
I have an account that I am following. More than one actually, but the point is the same.
When I click to review a profile I get the following message:
--------
This account is currently suspended and is being investigated due to strange activity.
If this is your account, or for more information about why an account may be suspended, see Suspended Accounts
--------
I want to stop following the account. Is there anything I can do directly? Do I need to contact support and have them remove the follow?
Thanks in advance.

Inappropriate?Hello. Along the bottom of the sidebar in the suspended account's profile, there should be a Block link.
Could you kindly try clicking that link and see if doing so successfully breaks any relationship between your account and the suspended account?
(I'm hoping the Block action causes your account to stop following the suspended one). -
Inappropriate? There is no Block link on the bottom of the sidebar of a suspended account. Just a page saying their account is suspended.
I'd like to block a suspended account, too, but you can't.
I’m frustrated

Ah yes. Twitter recently changed the way suspended accounts are displayed. We used to still be able to see a suspended profile, but now we get the owl.
I wonder: are you able to see the suspended account in the list of people you're following at http://twitter.com/friends ? If yes, does clicking the "remove" button help? -
Inappropriate? That did it. Once you stop following the suspended account, you can then go to the list of people you're following and then block it.
Thanks!
I’m thankful
