Inappropriate?IM is currently down, according to the Twitter Status blog ( http://status.twitter.com/ ). I've heard rumors of people receiving messages to their IM account from Twitter IM, but Twitter won't receive any messages back.
I've heard lots of reports of Twitter SMS working, although they officially claim it is currently working correctly.
