Ghost DMs haunting my Twitter Account!

I have 3 ghost DMs that show from my Home page on the right side menu. I've deleted the three msgs over and over and now the msgs no longer pop up, but the notification does. When I switch over to the DM page there are no msgs listed. How do I get the 3 notifications to stop popping up?
