Good Netiquette - Microformats - Get rid of the rel="me no follow"
Get rid of the rel="me no follow" in the URL area on your twitter profile link. Its like saying I don't trust myself in HTML and I think it sends the wrong message to google. Make it rel="me" that would be the right way to use the me statement and Good netiquette for microformats.

Inappropriate? This is just foolish. The spammers don't check, they just go with the odds. I can't see myself ever using rel="nofollow".
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate?Esp Rel="me no follow" on yourself.
-
Inappropriate?rel="me nofollow" makes no sense: it's self-contradictory. Please remove "nofollow". Thank you.
I’m frustrated

You know it kinda makes sense given twitter's track record of late. Must have been Scoble's Fault. -
Inappropriate?soo much collateral damage caused by this strategy i am surprised George W. Bush isnt involved, lol
I’m laughing at thier ignorance

Blame Scoble! -
Inappropriate? This basically renders the rel-me on those links useless, since microformats parsers will ignore those links:

Inappropriate?Heh, that is pretty silly. I'm sure its just an over site but it really doesn't work to essentially say: "Follow this link to another place of mine on the web, and don't follow this link anywhere."
I’m sad

An oversight is something you over look, this is something they thought about putting into your profile link. An oversight is that not one Twitter rep has posted one comment in this thread and I even hot linked it to the twitter account. -
Inappropriate?Twitter this is how Get Satisfaction does it:
You can find me online at

Three months and still not a single post from twitter on this issue. Good job guys! Way to go!

Inappropriate? Is seems like the nofollow correctly asserts that twitter.com does not vouch for the destination.
I see it as: Google crawls Twitter -> Spammers create profiles with malware links -> Twitter gets blacklisted from Google for pointing to malware. -
Yeah but rel me no follow is just stupid.
