Great User name in Limbo
I wanted a new user name, so I started a new twitter acct. Then I found out you can just change your user name. I deleted my new acct and then tried to change my user name - twitter says it is in use! I know it isn't. Can anyone help? Please?

Inappropriate?Hi. Did you mean you were trying to claim the username of your deleted account? If yes, please log a support ticket at http://twitter.com/help
In that ticket (not here) please make sure to include the name of your deleted account as well as the name of your current account. Also, it may help to provide additional info that proves you are the owner of the original account (such as the email address you used to signup for the deleted account). -
Inappropriate?No. I had one account and changed the username, but the change was incomplete. My original acount was japhy79 and my new one is japhygrant. Yet, while I can log in on the site with the japhygrant username, it still shows up as japhy79 on the main tweet page. Also, external pps recognize neither and a link to my profile is dead.
