Help with 3rd party apps!
I get the error message 'make sure both fields are valid' (they are!) whenever I try and use ANY 3rd party client. Help!

Inappropriate?Are you still able to login correctly via the Twitter website?
If yes, can you try logging in via this third-party web client: http://dabr.co.uk (just to see if the API problem affects all services)? Dabr uses OAuth so you don't have to give it your userid or password. You just authorize it.

Inappropriate?Yup, can sign in on there fine. Still can't sign in using twitter clients though (destroytwitter, tweetdeck, spaz all attempted).

That's really bizarre. Almost makes me wonder if it's a firewall setting on your machine that's causing the problem (though I'm no expert on firewalls).
It doesn't seem to be a problem with your account itself since you're able to login fine via the main Twitter website and Dabr.
Maybe someone from the TweetDeck forum can give you ideas...? You'll find their forum at http://tweetdeck.com/beta/help -
Inappropriate?Ha, well whaddya know. I opened my firewall and reinstalled the whole thing with firewall running (and asking me about it)... it's all fine now!
