Inappropriate?The way to add a link in a Twitter post will depend greatly on what tool / method you're using to actually make the post.
Many of the downloadable tools will make it easy for you to add links (and shorten them).
However, if you're just adding a tweet from the Twitter.com site, you might want to check out Lizzer. It's a free bookmarklet that lets you insert links into Twitter.
Also, when you inserting links in Twitter, it will automatically shorten the link - leaving more room for your tweet.
