How do I allow followers to follow me, but not to message me (neither @ nor direct message)?
I want to be able to post updates to my followers, but I don't want my followers to be able to send messages to me. How do I set this up? This is for a corporate brand account. Thanks.

Inappropriate? You can't really stop people from replying to you if they want to. All they have to do is type @yourbrandname. Doesn't mean whoever is controlling your brand's Twitter account has to read them, though.

Thanks for your response. The only issue is that even if no one reads the messages in the brand's account, we would still be held legally liable for receiving the messages and not responding or reacting in an appropriate way. -
Inappropriate?Well, I'm full of it, it seems. This might do it.
1) In your account, go to 'Settings.'
2) Click the 'Notices' tab.
3) On @Replies change it to 'no @replies'.
You won't receive any @reply messages that way. As long as you don't also track your twitter account's name, you shouldn't receive any of the messages directed at you.
(That'll teach me not to look at my settings...)
