How do I link my jabber ID to my twitter account?
Can I tweet from jabber? Where do I enter my jabber userid to link me account? According to documentation there should be a jabber drop down on the devices tab in settings, however it is not there.

Inappropriate?In fact, Twitter has posted an update to that thread, linking to a blog post at the Twitter Status Blog. It looks like IM won't be returning soon from Twitter.
However, you can try this third-party Twitter IM bot as an alternative: excla.im.

Be careful when giving your Twitter username and password away to third-party services. While I only recommend services that don't do anything unexpected with your password, it can happen. If you suspect one of these services, that you've given your username and password to, of doing something unexpected with your password, please change your password immediately.
I’m sad that IM won't be returning anytime soon, but happy to see third-party alternatives available.
