How do I turn off people sending me Direct Messages?
Is it possible to disable direct messages? Some people have the "message ______" link on their profile. Others do not. How do I turn this link off on my profile?

Inappropriate?You can only send direct messages to people who follow you. If the link is not available on a person's profile it means they don't follow you.

Inappropriate?In other words, if I un-follow everyone else, no one will be able to direct message me. Got it. Done.

"Something is technically wrong.
Thanks for noticing—we're going to fix it up and have things back to normal soon."
Their now almost 12000! You can see I have not been able to answr in a LONG time!
If I can't turn off the DM feature can it be cleared so maybe I can start answering again?
