Inappropriate?Do you have an XMPP/Jabber/Google Talk client on your computer?
If so, simply open it up, add twitter@twitter.com, and send matjgj (the confirmation key) to the bot.
I'm not sure why that link doesn't work, but it should just open up your xmpp/jabber/gtalk program and put that message in to twitter@twitter.com.

thanks, I open Google Talk, I add twitter@twitter.com as contact, I invite him/her but as long as he/she doesn't accept my invite I cannot send any confirmation key :-( -
Inappropriate? Also, attempts to verify your IM account with Twitter won't be successful while Twitter IM remains offline.
You can check http://status.twitter.com for daily updates on their efforts to restore im and other services. -
Inappropriate? As I told, I add twitter@twitter.com in my buddy list within GTalk, but I read: twitter@twitter.com invited and never get any chance to send the confirmation key.
Please help me!
thanks
I’m confused

Inappropriate? When Twitter IM is up, it automatically accepts your invitation within seconds of you sending it.
But Twitter IM is still down right now, so it won't accept your invitation and you won't be able to send the confirmation key. You'll need to wait until Twitter IM is back up. -
Inappropriate?Uh, that's the reason!
