How to activate my phone without sending an sms
I have a corporate blackberry that has SMS sending disabled - I can received SMS but not send. I want to set up Twitter so I receive SMS updates, but the setup asks me to send a code to 40404 - but I can't send SMS. Is there a way to activate my phone by receiving a code and typing it into my twitter account (or something like that)?

Unfortunately, you have to verify your phone in order for us to send SMS to it; this means we have to receive the code via SMS from your phone. However, you can use our mobile website instead:
m.twitter.com
to send, receive, and view all of your messages. Hope this helps!

Inappropriate?Thanks for the reply - that helps somewhat, but it means I'd need to "pull" my messages all the time, while the SMS functionality allows you to "push" them to me which is my preference.
Well, I guess I'll have to wait until there is a way to verify the phone without sending a code (if ever ...)
