how to add my device on 40404
hi I am a twitter user from india (aringhosh). I want to activate my mobile device over 40404 instead of the default number of 5566511 for INDIA. Can I do it? if so how?

Inappropriate?I'm fairly certain you can't use Twitter's 40404 outside the USA.
You might like to post in the main Get Satisfaction thread for India, where it appears that 5566511 is only partially supported by India's mobile carriers.
I suspect you could use Twitter's international number + 447624801423 to send SMS texts to Twitter - but you will never receive SMS texts from that number.
