Inappropriate?I was looking for a way to turn off just the updates...I still wanted it as an application in facebook.
I did however, figure out the problem. In case anyone else is having this problem: to edit the settings of the twitter app in facebook just click on the small "edit" link right under the search field. There you can edit the settings on each of your apps.
To keep twitter still on your profile, but not have it update your status every time you update twitter, just unclick the "automatically update status" option within your twitter app settings.
