Inappropriate?Hi Alexandra,
You can only use an email address once; we can't attach it to multiple accounts, as it would conflict with various email notices.
Thanks!

Inappropriate?hi crystal: ok i understand. so if i want to have 2 twitter accounts for different purposes, or for different groups of people, i have to use 2 different email addresses...
I guess i have a suggestion then...because i want to use twitter for different groups of people and for different purposes:
1. i am teaching a graduate level course in the summer and want to use it for my students. just tweets related to my course.
2. i have 3,000 faculty that i would like to communicate with regarding online teaching and learning best practices. Just SLN faculty-related tweets.
3. i have 100 instructional designers and directors of distance learning that i want to use it with for professional development.
4. i have an upcoming conference that i want the twitter account to focus on. this is an annual conference and so this twitter would only be active for a few months a year, but i like the fact that i can brand the account, and keep it for this purpose and that it would also carry the historical record of the previous event's related tweets...
i guess i can get separate email accounts for each, but forcing me to have separate email accounts so that i can create these twitter accounts is a work around that makes managment of them difficult and impacts my workload and efficiency.
Perhaps i am not seeing something here. Please advise. If i am using twitter wrong, or if there is a way to accomplish what i am trying to do in some other way, please let me know.

Inappropriate?I agree we need to be able to keep different groups of followers within the same account.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?I'd like to have multiple Twitter profiles on a single email account too. One for each of various projects. It would move Twitter from the realms of 'interesting and fun and a bit useful' to 'essential tool I use in all aspects of my life'.
I’m a little disappointed

Inappropriate?I would like to see a more custom set up for public relations managers who need to Twitter on behalf of their clients, plus for themselves.

Inappropriate?I see I'm not alone. I just signed up for a twitter site for one organization, I actually DO have a second e-mail address, so I'm hopeful that I can set up a second site, but I've had no luck so far. Even my yahoo sign-in pulled up my earthlink twitter address. Help, please.

Inappropriate?I'm new to twitter and just set up an site for one organization using my earthlink e-mail address. I desperately need to set up a second site. I do have a second e-mail address with Yahoo, but the reply was that that particular e-mail was already is use. Well - that e-mail is MINE, but it wouldn't allow me to proceed with signing it.
I’m frustrated
