I deleted a twitter account and its holding my phone number hostage
I was doing a tutorial for a client and created the test twitter account heybrainshare. I activated my phone with this account.
Then after I was finished with the video and sent it to the client I deleted the twitter account as well as the gmail address.
Then when I went to reactivate my phone with my mediajoltz account, it says my number is already in use.
The problem is that it is in use by a deleted account. I can't reactivate the account because in order to do that it send a confirmation email to the address that has also already been deleted.
I tried going to the twitter homepage and clicking the "already using twitter via sms" to see if I can fix it there and it takes me to a "something is technically wrong" page.
I really really would like my phone number back with my mediajoltz account. I've sent a request in to twitter but that was last week and haven't heard back from them. HELP

Inappropriate?Even if you don't have access to your twitter account, you can still deactivate your phone to be able to use it with a new account. Text delete me to 40404 for the US and it will deactivate your phone with current account and you now can reassign it!!

Inappropriate?In my case, I terminated my account, and Twitter is holding my personal information hostage and posting it on their site. Yes, that's right!
If you terminate your account with Twitter, don't expect them to actually delete it. They will maintain your photo, your username, and URL, and continue to post it - even though you're terminated! It's worse than that. Contact support to remove it, they don't. Contact their privacy department to remove it, they don't. Come here to this site, where a reported 19 Twitter employees are here to help - they do nothing.
Twitter misrepresents facts to the point I'm calling them as I see them: LIES.
This company is deceptive and dishonest.
