I deleted my account but recently recovered it.
I got the confirmation email for recovery, and I clicked the confirm link. I was presented with a page that said it would take a few minutes for Twitter to regain my information.
It's been about 5 hours and I still haven't gotten the email saying that my account is ready for use again. I can visit my profile page just fine (http://twitter.com/hansengel) and the tweet I made earlier is still there, but when I log in it brings me to the deleted account recovery form again, like I haven't already gone through the process.

Inappropriate?Me too, and I tried the help form but it bounced back after several days saying that the email address didn't work.

Inappropriate?I didn't get anything about the email address not working—everything appeared to be okay, and I'm just not getting the final email now.

Inappropriate?Sorry, I meant that as a separate event. The email that was not working for the help@twitter.com email address the help web form apparently is supposed to go to.

Inappropriate?That's the same with me. I'm able to login via starting the process to receive a new password. When clicking the twitter-link I find in my mailbox I'm in. Btw ... changing the password is not possible I always get an error message.

Inappropriate?I have this problem too. After about a week, I go back to see and the process starts all over again. So, I keep up the confirmation emails. I'm assuming the confirmations do not really lead anywhere, but are just a runaround on twitter.

Inappropriate?I'm also having this problem. I can see my profile if I type in the URL (http://twitter.com/lunette_fouroux), but can't log in (I get "something is technically wrong" page). If I search for my profile, Twitter can't find me. I've sent a gazillion emails to support/help/Crystal, but nobody has responded. I don't know what to do next.
I had another account first "Lunette40" that I deleted & couldn't restore, so I created "lunette_fouroux" using a different email address. I had a stupid misunderstanding with someone and deleted the "lunette_fouroux" account while in a highly emotional state. Before I deleted it, I changed the email address to the same one as the first one. I wonder if that is why it is not getting restored.
I do wish someone from support would at least acknowledge my existence.
