I do not receive any updates to my mobile phone, even when twitter says i'm getting the updates. what's wrong??

I occur the same problem, can't see any notification to my mobile phone. I did received before, but two weeks ago, I can't see any update. I didn't make any change on the setting, don't know why.

I am in the US on AT&T, and I dont get any notifications on my mobile phone (though sending/updating from mobile works just fine). I didn't make any changes to the settings, it just stopped working one day.

Nothing solved yet.

I've done this two commands (the On and Help sms) without any success. Also a thing that I've noticed is that when I go to twitter.com/devices I always found that notifications are OFF; doesn't matter if I changed it to On or Direct Messages, I return and there are in 'OFF' mode again.

I can send sms to twitter, that's fine and cool :)
but I can't receive, and I think this is a problem with my account, because some friends are getting their updates, so this isn't a regional thing or something like that.

i'm new to twitter and everything works fine except i dont get the texts when my friends update...
help?

I'm on sprint's network US and I can update/send twits but am unable to receive twits from others. I just set it my phone up....but regardless, I'm not being twitted.

can send updates to twitter via sms no prob, but can't receive!

Tried everything in suggested on the "SMS troubleshooting tips" page.
Device updates: ON, and selected selected ON for those I follow.

Using 21212 for here in Canada. On Rogers.

I haven't been receiving SMS updates either, for a couple of days. I'm using the UK number (I'm in Australia).

Same problem in Russia. Tried to re-activate the phone notifications once more, received a couple and it screwed up again.

I'm having this problem also. Is this a problem with Telcel (the phone carrier) or twitter?

This problem just began today for my family in the U.S. We are on AT&T. Outgoing to twitter work fine. Nothing has arrived from twitter in ~2 hrs.

Same problem here on Lima, Peru. A few months ago i can't receive sms updates from twitter. I can send sms to my twitter, but i'm not receiving nothing at all. And i can't confirm my phone number either.
