Inappropriate? If you remember the email address that you used to register with Twitter, you can still get back into your account by using the password reset page.
Go to http://twitter.com/account/resend_pas... and enter your email address there.
That will cause Twitter to send you an email that contains a link you can click on to get back into your account. -
im not getting any help with retriving my user name and password or how to access my twitter account again? -
Hi unathi. Did you get a chance to try the resend password page? If not, go to this link: http://twitter.com/account/resend_pas... then enter your email address there. -
What if you *know* you registered a twitter account, but can't remember what email address you used, and the reset-password email isn't showing up in *any* email accounts I use? -
Hi Denis. If that's the case, my suggestion is to create a new Twitter account and start from scratch. You can signup at this link: https://twitter.com/signup -
Nancy, you don't need to know your Twitter username if you remember the email address that you used to register it. Just enter your email address (not the twitter username) in this Password Reset Form (please click). -
Inappropriate?mdy: Not acceptable in this case. The twitter account is for an organization, and using a different name would not be as effective (and besides would leave the desired name open for someone to use falsely. Thanks.

Inappropriate?Oh, I misunderstood your question, Denis. I thought you also didn't know the username (since that was Nancy's original question).
In your case, I think your best bet is to create a support ticket to see if someone from Twitter Support can help you. They'll most likely ask you to provide info to demonstrate that you own the account.
Do you think it's possible that the name is already in use by someone else from your organization -- meaning someone else created the account? That might explain why you don't get any of the password reset emails.
In any case, if the username that you want is a trademark of your organization, then under Twitter's Terms of Service, you can request the username if you own that trademark. See this page on Twitter's help portal for more info: http://help.twitter.com/forums/26257/... -
Inappropriate?I've forgotten my password AND I don't know which e-mail address was associated with my account! :( This is soo frustrating! Someone please help me. :( A quick reply would be really appreciated!
Plus when I type in my username in the Password Reset Form and I check my email for the link, once I click the link it says that I need to restore my account. This is where it gets confusing. I had another account which was also associated with same email address. I deleted that account and tried to reset my password - this is where it told me that I should restore my account.
Please help me. :(
I’m frustrated

Okay it's fine now... I've remembered my password! :D But there's still one problem - I don't know which email address my account is linked to. :( -
You can see the email address that's linked to your Twitter account by logging in and going to http://twitter.com/account/settings -
