I get redirected to another user's profile page after I delete a direct message.

I believe this is an unintended consequence of the feature that @crystal mentioned in one of her tweets this weekend:

crystal : new: upon login, you now remain on the same page instead of /home. nothin' like a lil saturday night cache clearing! & then: mexican food! 2008-04-19 23:20:27

I can consistently reproduce this behavior in Firefox 2.0.0.14 on WinXP SP2 by following these steps:

1. Login to Twitter

2. View the profile page of another user (e.g., http://twitter.com/pistachio)

3. Click the "Home" link at the top of the profile page go to my own home page

4. Click "Direct Messages" link in sidebar

5. Delete one of the messages

After I click the message, I find myself back at http://twitter.com/pistachio and the note: "Message has been deleted!" appears briefly before fading away. I had expected to find myself back in my Direct Messages page with the deleted message now gone.

The same unexpected redirect behavior also happens when I send a direct message from http://twitter.com/direct_messages

silly I’m sure this will get sorted out.
