I just stopped following 2300 people and lost 2300 followers.
I just went from following 2400 people and being followed by 2,560 people. Now I'm following 226 and being followed by 291? WHAT?

Inappropriate?I just logged on and found all of the people I follow are gone - 0 - down from 310.
I also found that all of my followers - 360 - are gone except for four.
What's going on? -

Inappropriate?I have 3,894 Favorites, 1,328 DM's, and 9,856 updates. I had 2,570 followers and was following 2,441 people. At least half of my blurbs were @ replies. I am not a bot. I am not a spammer. I would like my account back please. Thank you. -

Inappropriate?I restored the about 80 I was following (but a few still missing). But I cannot "restore" my followers on my own, even if I had only slightly more than 30! And, additionally, I cannot USE the normal twitter, cannot POST or DIRECT MESSAGE. The only things I was allowed, was to login and to re-add the people I remembered I was following, and to change my password. Any time I try to post or direct message somebody I get the "an error occurred" screen...
Even being on holiday I did not plan to get all my twitter contacts lost. And I want to at least be able to send direct messages! I got somebody asking what happened to me, and I cannot even answer!
