I'm Automatically Following Without Opting-in, Disappointing

How did I start following rongoodz when I didn't select to "follow" him?! He's got over 9,000 followers by doing what ever it is he's been doing within his 20 minutes of Twittering. He was one of my followers, yet he was automatically marked so that I follow him too. I do not like this new feature because I did not opt in! (I'm using Twitterberry and TwitterFox programs with auto save info for Twitter.com)
