Is there a way for me to read updates from a long time ago?

Inappropriate?Hello. Did you mean your own updates, or other people's updates?
If you want to read your own updates online:
1. Go to http://twitter.com/account/archive (login required).
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the [Older] button or link that's located in the lower right corner. This will take you back to your earlier updates. You can keep clicking [Older] with each succeeding page to view even earlier ones.
Note: there is a known issue with the [Older] button for our Archives. A fix was deployed earlier today which will allow users to view their own 3,200 latest tweets (equiv to 160 Older pages). It works on my account, but others are still reporting problems. -
Both. I wanted to read my first updates and a friend's first updates, but it doesn't go back all the way. -
Inappropriate?Hi. It might help to post a reply at the other thread where @biz posted (click here) so all the feedback regarding this problem goes to one place and it'll be easier for Twitter to troubleshoot.
I suggest you include your username, and state how far back you actually can go (in terms of number of pages).
Hope your problem gets fixed soon.
