Is twitter all it's cracked up to be??

Do you really like twitter?? Does it work?? I'm kind of skeptical. It's not what I thought! I saw a place where comments and complaints about various places of business were posted and taken care of?? Can you help me out here. Not all at once please! I know that there are quite a few of us.
