It says I've blocked people, but they still show up as followers.

I am unable to block people. It has been almost a week that I've been having this problem and I haven't been able to actually block anyone for that entire length of time. I'm being followed by tons of spammers and there is nothing I can do about it.

When I click "block" and follow the normal blocking process, it doesn't work. The people still show up on my followers list, except now instead of "block" it now says "unblock" next to their names. They are still showing up on my followers list.

This is incredibly frustrating, and I know that I am not the only person to have made this complaint and I don't see any updates anywhere by Twitter saying that this problem is being resolved or worked on that don't already say that the issue has been fixed already. Clearly it is not fixed.

I have at least an entire page of "followers" that I have tried to block that are still showing up on my list. Even when I log in from another account, they are showing up to the public as still following me.

PLEASE FIX IT.
