I've been cut off from adding new people! (did i hit a friend limit? LOL)

I can't seem to follow people. When I click follow it gives me a pop up that says "there was a problem, refresh the page and try again". I do as it says and it still won't work. Its been this way since yesterday so I gave it a day and still not able to work!
