Linking "Location" to Google Maps search?
With the release of Twitterrific for the iPhone and iPod touch (among other apps that do the same thing), users can now post their exact location (in longitude and latitude) to their Twitter "location" area of their profile if they choose to do so. Yep, it's the ultimate in stalking. A city or street would've been nice enough, but sometimes you just want to know where someone is (not exact, but like which city, state, etc etc) located.
Unfortunately, this means nothing to most people. I'd be really nice if Twitter would link all of the "Location" areas to a Google Maps search for the location. Even if it was in a overlay/lightbox-sort-of-thing, it'd be really useful for these exact locations (or any other location, for that matter).
PS: The longitude and latitude thing really is creepy, eh?

Inappropriate?TwitterFon is also using the option to enter the coordinates into the profile. Superb function, but reading it is much harder.. So I like the Idea Chris posted and hope you guys notice it ;)
