Inappropriate?Every time I refresh the Twitter website I am logged in as someone else. I have FULL control over their account. This will get VERY bad unless it is fixed A.S.A.P!
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Ok, looks like you have taken the site down. Good.
-
Inappropriate?Ok, the site is back online but I am STILL logging in as a different user with each refresh. Holy cow this will be bad if someone decides to screw with other users accounts.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Ok,
While refreshing pages I see a LOT of people are noticing this and posting garbage in other people's accounts. Gonna be a HUGE backlash after this one. Why can't you just take the site down Twitter? Better than letting people screw up other users accounts.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Ok, the site has been taken offline again. Let's hope Twitter KEEPS it offline till the problem is fixed this time.

Inappropriate? We're on this bug and yes, you'll see the "Something is technically wrong" page while we identify and solve the problem. We'll keep you posted.
-
Inappropriate? How about a better explanation than " If you briefly saw an unexpected page this evening, apologies. The bug has been fixed."
I had 1 post on my account that was not made by me that I had to remove. While viewing other accounts I saw MANY more bogus posts on other accounts.
Might be nice if you posted about it so people don't think their accounts were hacked by someone.

Inappropriate? Thanks for the impressively quick fix on this. I have one new follower who I think was added during the bug as part of it, but no big whoop. Maybe that will turn out to be a serendipitous friending.
I’m glad things are back to normal.

Inappropriate?Hey folks, our bad. We were testing a new application server tonight and made a mistake. We were able to roll it back quickly but not before people ran into some issues. There's more info in the blog post: http://tinyurl.com/3ywuv6
Thanks for your patience!

Inappropriate?Thanks for the Blog update!
How about adding a link to the blog post in the twitter update? That way people don't freak out and think someone hacked their account. Not everyone knows to visit the blog or these help forums.
I’m confident
-
Inappropriate?Ok, maybe not.
Nothing like hiding what happened from your users and let them think someone hacked their account when they see posts in them that they did not create.
I’m sad
