loose focus on textarea if greater than 140 chars

Here's a new one, if I type more than 140 characters, if I hit the space bar it shifts the focus out of the text area, and then every subsequent character after that also shifts the focus out of the textarea. Talk about a harsh way to enforce the 140 character rule!
