Why are there some people on twitter who have tons of followers but no updates?

Inappropriate?I have been having this problem too. They seem to start following me almost immediately after I post about specific topics. It seems to be some type of bot service, since none of them have any profile info. Just an empty account with tons of users they "follow" and a handful of "followers" who are probably fellow bots.

Inappropriate?This is a common problem since the beginning of the craze. This is not something to fear, but should tell you to "Get working" on streamlining your followers/ following. It is a lot of work, but it is yours to own since the terms came out about a month ago.

Thanks, but I don't think you understood what I was talking about. I'm fine with my followers/following. I just wonder why some folks have tons of followers but have never tweeted. Cheers.
